It’s all good, but sometimes a little painful…

What a great day we had celebrating my son’s 16th birthday this past Saturday!  Can you say RECOVERY TIME!  2 days later and I am so sore I can barely move.  This 48 year old played football with my son and his friends and was reminded of what it was like to be 16… that was the fun part then came the day after and today – ouch.  For his gift, we are going to watch the Eagles woop (that’s southern for kick) some Cowboy tail!  I hear the new Dallas stadium is something to see.  Can’t wait, neither can he!

Today was a difficult day.  We had to take our daughter to Children’s Hospital for tests.  The test results were great and indicate no problems; however the procedure was no fun, especially for my daughter.  Still, medical tests sometimes cause pain in order to discover or in this case rule-out possible problems.  Thinking about all the children and parents at Children’s Hospital that deal with much worse problems make you thankful for the good health all my children enjoy, but when she was laying on the table none of that made a difference when I saw the fear in her little eyes.  I am thankful for her health, the test results and pray for all those little ones that are not so lucky.

Now it’s back to the startup.  I’ve started using Twitter and have been tweeting around a bit.  I put out a challenge in hopes of finding some good opportunities for people to make some extra money.  As a reminder, one of the key requirements of what we are working to do is provide an opportunity where most everyone can make some extra money.  My challenged started looking for a company that produced at least and 80% success rate.  There were no takers for the challenge.  We are down to looking for only 50% success rate.   Hopefully there are programs out there that are at least 50% successful… meaning that at least 50% of those that join earn more than they spend.  We will see!
