Eli and me…

Plantar fasciitis is a painful inflammatory condition of the foot. It has been reported plantar fasciitis occurs in two million Americans a year and 10% of the population over a lifetime.[1] It is commonly associated with long periods of work-related weight bearing. Among non-athletic populations, it is associated with a high body mass index. The pain is usually felt on the underside of the heel and is often most intense with the first steps of the day. Another symptom is that the sufferer has difficulty bending the foot so that the toes are brought toward the shin (decreased dorsiflexion of the ankle). According to many internet posts, ole Eli Manning and I have something in common, Plantar fasciitis. OUCH!  All I can tell you is that if he has the same thing I have, then my hat is off to the dude for playing with the condition, because IT HURTS!

I am sure this condition is where all similarity between us ends; expect perhaps that we are both nice guys!  This weekend I did my best to not let the pain get in the way of a fun time at Silver Dollar City with several members of my family.  My 3 year old had a great time.   I paid dearly at night for being on my feet all day.  Not much sleep due to the pain.  But enough of my woes…

Tomorrow we make our pitch to ASTA to explain our business and why seeking additional funds for the company.   This should keep me very busy up into the evening!

I hope the previous post gives you some insight into how easy this will be for everyone.  I really don’t know why EVERYONE will not want to join once we are operational.   To me it seems like a “no-brainer” and almost everyone we talk to feels the same.  Some people will not get it and focus on trying to find what is wrong with the concept.  I’ll just tell them to “get a life” and to please funnel their negative energy on real world problems!
